Grand Opening of the Permanent Building
Montana Museum of Art and Culture
For over 125 years the Montana Museum of Art and Culture has been collecting and preserving regional history and bringing international cultural artifacts to the state on Montana, but the location of the collection was often separated and relocated. After decades of fundraising, MMAC finally opened the first permanent and dedicated home of the collection. We are so proud to have been witness to this important time in the MMAC’s history and to help shape the introduction of their new space.
We designed the section titles and educational postings that accompanied the opening exhibition, including QR codes that play audio recordings of the section titles in English and Salish. In lower level of the museum, you can see the 20 foot multimedia timeline installation that brings the rich history of the museum to live.
